Our Story
Our goal is to introduce limited batches of authentic wines with an artistic presentation.
My name is Gnel Garibyan, artist and creator of Lilar Wines. My daughters, Lilith and Arpi, were the muses behind the creation of my brand and the portmanteau of their names birthed Lilar. My interest went further into actually experimenting with wine making at my home in Los Angeles, CA. Through countless hours of work, often sourcing grapes from regions of northern and central California, my passion for wine making grew exponentially. From pressing grapes to wine tasting parties, my closest friends and family pushed me to strive for success. My passion for art and wine aroused my creativity, both sketched and pressed. As a professionally trained artist, I incorporate my love for art into each wine I produce by hand-sketching my labels with a theme that represents my vision, so that I can make the drinker feel a unique experience with each glass.
I decided to market Lilar Wines commercially and share my passion with other wine enthusiasts. Our eclectic wines are now fermented in a bonded winery in Paso Robles, CA where my love for wines first began.

Artwork
After receiving so many compliments on our various wine labels, we decided to print some of the artwork on framed canvas. This allows us to better showcase the intricate details woven into the pieces which are not visilbe on small prints. In doing so, we fell in love with the outcome and are excited to share the beauty and inspiration behind Lilar Wines with all of you!
